Serving the Lord in Puerto Rico

Description: Tree of Life supports Rev. Richard & Gema Schuller in serving the Lord as missionaries of the LC-MS in Puerto Rico.  Richard partners with Iglesia Luterana Principe de Paz (Prince of Peace Lutheran Church) in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. Through Word and Sacrament ministry, he ministers to its current members and helps them grow in their faith to strengthen the congregation. Richard and Gema also care for those in the community in which they live and work, seeking to build relationships with them in order to share the Gospel.
Please pray for Schullers as they serve in Puerto Rico. Pray the Word of God has free reign and the Holy Spirit moves in many hearts to come into fellowship with Jesus. Pray the Puerto Rican pastoral team is able to form strong elders and lay leaders to carry on and spread the Gospel in the area of Mayaguez and beyond. Ask God to be with Richard and Gema's grown children and their spouses. Let us give thanks Richard and Gema are serving God's children in Puerto Rico.

By overcoming this challenge you are making an eternal difference as the students you prepare now will proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ today and for decades to come. In faith, these seminarians have come to Concordia Seminary. Now you can encourage them with your prayers and make their preparation financially possible.

Toler Elementary
Tree of Life has collected school supplies for Toler Elementary. Principal Hood is amazed and very grateful for the partnership that has been formed with Tree of Life and we would like to thank everyone for their support in this community outreach effort. We may be small in number but we are mighty in spirit and generosity.

Some Tree of Life members volunteer their time and read to children at Toler Elementary.

We are also collecting Box Top for Education for Toler Elementary.
